Our volunteers are important individuals who choose to strenghten and support Union Springs Academy through service in a variety of ways. We appreciate the enthusiasm, expertise, and commitment that volunteers share with our students and faculty!
Tutoring, maintenance, office assistance, and coaching are three areas volunteers can assist during the school year. During the summer months, volunteers help keep up with the never-ending task of mowing the campus grounds and other grounds-keeping tasks and small maintenance projects.
On-campus renovation projects are another area where volunteers provide essential assistance through the donation of their time, labor, and expertise. We are anticipating over 200 volunteers for our 4th Annual Campus Renovation weeks, July 2-14, 2017! If you are interested in participating in next year's renovation event, check our website and Facebook page frequently. Maranatha will be participating with us and you can register on their website. We hope to share news from the school, facilitate special projects and host fun events where we can get to know each other and those at the school better. Simply put, we want to strengthen the Union Springs Academy community! It is our prayer that God will use this group to bless not only USA, but all who choose to be a part of the community of Union Springs Academy.
Outreach activities benefitting the students of Union Springs Academy have included:
- care packages sent to our recent graduates enrolled at colleges away from home
- Christmas stockings or gift bags for every USA student at Christmas or during a winter event
- Saturday night socials
- a reception for our new graduates following commencement
The Alumni Association Executive Committee is a another group strongly committed to the ongoing success of our students and the academy. Executive Committee members are elected from among the alumni body and work together to strengthen the academy's relationship with our former students and staff.
